Have you ever promised a child a gift or anything at all? If you haven't, then take this as a warning sign because trust me when I say this: “they will remind you!” At every chance they get, they will remind you.
Last month, I promised to buy presents for my niece and nephew (they are twins) for their 5th birthday, and since I made that promise, I’ve not rested. Every time they call, they remind me as their parting words, “Aunty Jem, don't forget the gifts you promised,” as if I could ever. The birthday is fast approaching, and omo I've even started seeing them in my dreams 😂😂. That's how much they've reminded me.
